Welcome to St Matthew's!  We hope you will come to join us in worship.  We are a small and friendly congregation who welcome visitors and newcomers alike.  Our worship is traditional with a small choir.  We worship together every Sunday morning at 09:30 for traditional worship and at 11.00 for a Café Church style service.

We are a church that likes to say 'Yes'.  Although we are small, we will do all we can to support your spiritual needs where ever you are on your journey with God.  We say yes to Christenings, yes to weddings, and yes to young people.

From time to time we run Christian basics or enquirers courses for youth and for adults.  For families we offer a monthly mid-week celebration called 'Messy Church' with crafts and action songs and we also provide a family service on the second Sunday in the month - for more information see Events and activities tag.

We do need locally based Christians who are looking to serve our Lord in their local church- we believe in lay ministry - in Christ all things are possible - help us to become the church God wants to be!

We work with St Saviour's at Harden and if you find our Sunday morning service time of 9:30 a little early then try St Saviour's at 11:15.  We do hope you will pay us a visit.
